Linuxではおなじみのネタですが、PCのBIOS時間をUTCとして認識するため9時間ずれる。

Make Linux use 'Local' time

To tell your Ubuntu system that the hardware clock is set to 'local' time:

edit /etc/default/rcS
add or change the following section

# Set UTC=yes if your hardware clock is set to UTC (GMT)
UTC=no

最近のディストリビューションはドキュメントが充実してきてすぐに情報がでてきますね。ただ、設定ファイルの場所がよく変わるので、昔の解決策がビンゴというわけでもないのも最近の特徴ですわ。
